Last weekend, our team took a break from algorithms and automation to enjoy a completely different activity: a cooking workshop in Santiago de Compostela that combined creativity and teamwork.
The experience was much more than just cooking; it was an opportunity to strengthen bonds and celebrate a year full of accomplishments.
A Star Wars–Themed Cooking Workshop
The event began in a cozy local kitchen, where we learned to make cupcakes with icing inspired by Star Wars characters. From stormtroopers to the iconic Baby Yoda, each team member let their imagination run wild.
Although some of us discovered we’re better programmers than bakers, what truly stood out was the camaraderie and fun. Each sugar figure created reflected not only the festive spirit but also the creativity that drives our daily work at Binarial.

A Day to Remember
The workshop left us with delicious treats to enjoy, along with plenty of laughter and stories that we’ll surely remember in future team meetings. The event photos show a team fully engaged in every step of the process.
Afterwards, we moved to a local restaurant for our traditional Christmas lunch. This annual gathering is more than just a meal; it’s a moment to reflect on the year behind us.
On this occasion, we reviewed the milestones we achieved together: new technological developments, key collaborations, and the events we participated in, such as the Web Summit and the AER 6th Summit.
The post-lunch conversations focused on the future. With several exciting projects on the horizon and a commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation, we shared our expectations for 2025. We also celebrated the growth of our team and spoke enthusiastically about new hires who will help us meet our clients’ growing expectations.
