From November 11 to 14, we had the pleasure of participating in the Web Summit 2024, one of the most influential technology events globally, held at the MEO Arena and the Lisbon International Fair.
With an attendance of over 70,000 people and 3,000 companies from 160 countries, it was the ideal place to showcase our autonomous mobile robot, Troo, as an example of innovation in automation and industrial robotics.
As one of the Spanish startups present, our team had the opportunity to connect with technology leaders, artificial intelligence experts, and emerging companies shaping the course of digital transformation.
With a large turnout, the event became a meeting point for companies innovating in automation and industrial robotics.
AI and robotics: key highlights of 2024
This edition highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in process optimization and sustainability—topics that are central to us in the development of advanced AMRs (autonomous mobile robots).
It also addressed issues such as environmental impact, regulation, and ethics in technology.
Examples of innovations presented ranged from AI solutions applied in large platforms to initiatives for its use in less conventional sectors.
During the event, figures such as Brad Smith, President of Microsoft, and Kuo Zhang from Alibaba.com discussed upcoming developments in AI—a field in which Binarial is also committed to innovating.
Troo, our AMR, attracted attention for its ability to autonomously optimize operations in industrial environments, reflecting our focus on efficient and sustainable technologies.
It incorporates advanced AI-based detection and navigation systems, standing out in a market that increasingly values the ability to adapt robotics to complex and diverse processes.
A space for networking and growth
In addition to presentations, Web Summit is also an invaluable opportunity for networking. Our team actively participated in talks and discussions on the challenges facing technology in Europe.
At our stand, visitors were able to experience firsthand how our autonomous robots operate.
